Hey, I'm an ambivert, which can confuse people when I switch "modes", so here's my office interruptions policy to help clear that up.
1. In office, with door closed. (Antisocial Introvert mode) - Working on something that requires a lot of concentration, so avoiding any distractions. I'm mainly logged onto Sococo to show that I'm working to serve as motivation for others. I'm available for emergencies, but please weigh the urgency carefully before interrupting me as I might lose my concentration headspace and significant progress on what I'm working on. Opening pipedrive activities is a good alternative.
2. In office, with door open. (Social Introvert mode) - Open to hearing and resolving any important work related issues as progress is energizing, hearing about non progress stuff is tiring. Please be prepared and ready to explain the problem and screen share so progress is swift.
3. In lounge or out of office (Extrovert mode) - Happy and energized to talk to most people about most things. :) Not wanting to start an involved project that would restrict my social interactions, but rather to schedule a time for it later, and keep things light-hearted and enjoy people.
